The 26th Annual Institute for Healthcare Improvement National Forum on Quality Improvement in Health Care (whoa, that’s a mouthful) was held this year in the always fun city of Orlando, Florida. Although cool and rainy, I was still pleased to escape the cold and snow of Pennsylvania and work at the IHI Conference (www.ihi.org). With an attendance of almost 6000 healthcare professionals, this multi-day event was as fun as it was awe-inspiring.
It was so gratifying to draw caricatures and provide some frivolity and laughs at this very important event. I was there to show my artistic skill thanks to Midas+ (www.midasplus.com), part of the Xerox family of companies. Despite the weather, I had a lot of fun in Florida and am sure that the attendees did, too. I’m glad I was able to contribute to the IHI Forum, and am very thankful to the attendees for their incredible contributions to the field of health care.
