Antiques, Irish-style inns, and art student graduation parties – what a great way to spend the weekend. The icing on the cake is that I got to share the fun with some of my family. My husband and mother-in-law accompanied on a trip to Bethesda and Annapolis for a weekend trip. We stayed a lovely Irish inn and attended an antique show. It meant a great deal to me to be able to have this quality time with my loved ones.
That evening, while my husband and his mother enjoyed the evening in Annapolis, I travelled to Bethesda to draw digital caricatures at the party of Nina, a recent art school graduate. Nina’s friends and family kept me very busy, drawing non-stop for 4 hours. Her many guests were enthralled with my work and thankful that I had been there to help celebrate Nina’s accomplishments. I’m thankful that I was there to congratulate Nina and hopefully inspire her as she enters the world of professional artistry.
