Summer Sun Won’t Stop the Fun
You know, I like to be active. I’m always on the go and moving around. I run every day and love taking my dogs on walks. So, when I was asked to work at a very different kind of event in New Jersey in July, it sounded right up my alley. Along with three colleagues, I unplugged my tablet, stepped away from my stool and easel, and walked around MetLife Stadium drawing digital caricatures as a strolling iPad artist.
We put on our umbrella hats (artists can get away with some silliness in order to be practical) to block the sun and moved through game stands and activity booths set up for our client’s guests for a day of good fun. We drew digital caricatures on our iPads and emailed the files directly to the guests, eliminating the need for printers and paper. It was a really fun and beautiful summer day for the guests and the perfect opportunity for me to fulfill my need to be active while I worked.
